Garden Club

Earth Our body

May we tend to the Earth the same way we tend to our bodies, with gentleness and reverence

This once a month community gathering is always ebbing and flowing with the seasons and what plants are growing at that time. These garden club meetups can cover anything from gardening to medicine making, and anything in between. Everything we learn about is growing in the garden in real time.

The intention of these gatherings are to help you feel more comfortable with starting your own garden or making medicine with what is growing on your land. Plus, what a special and easy way to connect with those in your community.

These meetups are kid friendly, and are always hosted at Organic Garden Preschool in Mesa, Arizona.

Come hang out with us in the sacred garden, and learn all about gardening in the desert!

Medicine Making with Moringa in December

We learned all about the medicinal + spiritual properties of Moringa and made a nutritive + immune supportive apple cider vinegar for daily wellness shots or to blend with oil for a tasty salad dressing. This was a beautiful first meetup to kick off our Garden Club. We drank freshly harvested Moringa tea infusion during our time together, and discussed how beneficial Moringa is in the garden to all the plants growing, along with your animal friends. Everyone took Moringa seeds home and a baby Moringa transplant to get going on their land

Rosemary Storytelling in February

Precious time soaking up Rosemary’s magickal protection and warming spirit through our time together. We drank Rosemary tea infusion, shared stories of using Rosemary, and I shared about the medicinal and spiritual properties of this beloved plant spirit. Everyone took home a handmade Rosemary bundle and cuttings to start their own plant at home.

Companion Planting in March

We went on a garden walk and I shared what plants are companions for one another, the benefits of companion planting, and we ate while we walked.. munching on Borage and Calendula flowers, Spearmint, and Kale along the way. The kiddos that joined learned how to harvest ripe Tomatoes, and everyone left with seeds that are great to plant with another in these current summer months.
