  • Aubrey provided an essential presence when I needed it most to work through some complex emotions following a sexual assault. We met over several sessions that began with singing and drumming- releasing tensions, helping me sink into a meditative inner rhythm. Then, together we co-created and envisioned a healing gathering. We imagined the closest women in my life coming together to build a flower mandala and encircle my home with candles, read poetry and end the night with a healing sound bath. That night of gathering affirmed my sense of safety surrounded by a community of women. A few weeks later, Aubrey came over again when I was ready to gather the dried flowers and complete a process that brought deep meaning and relief to my wounded heart. She attended to me like a doula cares for mothers- holding soft space, gently guiding and providing priceless presence...such a gift of time and true presence. Together- she remained patiently by my side, drumming, as I gathered the dried flowers and moved slowly through my own ceremony guided with spontaneity and grace. This whole process has brought me so much inner healing and has set my heart free.
